The purpose of Post 190 is to give young men and women the opportunity to learn about the fire/ems service.  We accomplish this by conducting weekly training sessions in which post members learn about the tools, and techniques used by firefighters to do their jobs.  The goal of each post member is to earn the privilege of participating in ride-alongs.  This is when each member really learns about the daily life of a firefighter.  Members who have earned this privilege will respond on fire apparatus to emergency scenes.

Post 190 was chartered through the Boy Scouts of America in October 2004.
